Youth have been exploring the events that led to Christ’s crucifixion and resurrection. We will continue our study and discussion with our Maundy Thursday Service, and then LOCK-IN for fellowship and devotion through our Vigil.
After Jesus and his disciples shared the Passover Meal together, Jesus asked his friends to stay awake and watch with him

while he prayed for strength. One by one each fell asleep, leaving Jesus alone in his sorrow as he made his intercessory prayer for the sins of the world.
Our youth will dedicate an hour of their Lock-in experience to “watch and pray” in our chapel’s “Garden of Gethsemane” to ponder and discuss the sacrifice our Savior made in our behalf.

What you should bring-
Casual and comfortable clothes to change into.

ü	Your Bible

ü	Sleeping bag or bedroll and pillow (Not that we will get any sleep!)

ü	A snack to share with everyone- plan on 15

ü	A beverage to share with everyone- (2 liter bottle of pop)

ü	Pre-approved video game and equipment

ü	A spirit of fun and cooperation.

ü	Signed Parent permission slip with emergency phone contacts
